A Conversation with Higgins, March 4, 2026 (Earth Meditation)

The entity:  We will do an earth meditation tonight.  I did it earlier today and I felt it was very odd. 

H:  What would you like to talk about tonight? 

P:  I am pretty disturbed about this war.  No question or really any comments.  I just find it horrible. 

P:  I am feeling the same way. 

H:  We have used this metaphor before:  if you come upon a person beating up another person it’s too late to have created your future without that.  It is happening.  You deal with it however you deal with it:  approach them and try to stop it and risk getting hurt or run away and then feel bad about yourself for not helping the other person.  There’s no good solution.  The solution was a year ago or a day ago or 5 minutes ago you set your intention for having a pleasant walk; for safety; you set your intention in advance for creating a picture of your life without that. 

The time for fixing this war was a year ago.  It wasn’t now.  If you see what is happening, all that can be done is the best you can do.  Bomb Iran or not bomb Iran – no good option because you needed to create that last year.  The idea is now be creating the future you want to be living.  We work on this every week.  You realize – volume wise- we are not enough people to tip the scales.  We can tip the scales for each one of you.  You can have a safe life and are doing so.  Each one of you can have a pleasant experience and have enough of the things that you need because you have been setting that up for yourself long enough so that the Universe can turn the knobs to be turned, or dials that need to be changed, to get what you need in front of you.  All that we are doing for this group is useful for the globe, but we are such a small number, we are not tipping the scales of global safety. 

One of the requirements of moving forward as a species is to learn how to defend yourself in a posture of non-violence.  What does that look like?  The entity read some articles about non-violent ways to defend a ship from pirates.  The non-violent method was not to shoot at them.  It was about sound.  They blasted sound at the approaching pirates so loud it damaged their hearing and caused such pain in their ears they backed off.  Couldn’t stomach that kind of pain.  Is that non-violence?

As you as a species are trying to develop non-violent means, what are non-violent means?  How do you get enough of you practicing it so that the 100th monkey theory falls into place?  The answer is just keep doing what you are doing.  Keep setting intentions for your future to be safe.  The, friend B, yes, you will be uncomfortable right now because there’s no good answer.  The answer for you specifically is what can you do to spread the sort of peace and non-violent safety forward into the world? What can you do?  You can join us every Wednesday; join your gentle protests.  You’re a writer, you could write your ideas and publish them on your own blog.  Whatever you are inspired to do is the right thing to do. 

P:  Aren’t there other groups like us doing the same thing but it is still not enough?

H:  Yes.  We need numbers. 

The other aspect is what is the idea?  What you need is a plan that people can wrap their mind around.  A book millions of people read; a video that goes viral that lays out viable solutions.  Since you do not have solutions at this time it is hard to make that shift. It is hard to make that shift because you don’t actually understand or see it yet, bit you don’t need to b/c the Universe knows how.  The Universe will inspire you to do it.  But that takes a shift of large numbers of people.  If you have one person who has a vision and can elucidate that vision and spread that vision then that is another way to do it. 

If you have ideas of how to live a peaceful existence between you and another country, write about it; publish it on line, disseminate that information.  One of the thingsthat we see in the entity’s household is her husband likes to watch the news and talk about it and how awful it is and talk about everything that is reinforcing the news, but not talk about a solution to the news so there is a different outcome.   And that is really what is going on – so many people watch the news but the don’t think in their own mind, “How could we do this differently.”  That is what is needed.  How could it be done differently?

P:  The citizens of countries don’t want war.  Nobody wants war.  It’s all the people in power who are bored and want to exercise their power because they have the time and money.  If I want peace in my world, I create it in myself.  I don’t watch the news.  I do see stuff and know what’s going on.  I don’t focus on it.  I feel for people suffering but I don’t see anything I can do about it except put things out like my meditation music.

H:  As an individual, that is the most important thing you can do.  The other thing is: be peaceful in your own soul. 

P:  I think there is a 100th monkey thing going on.  In Minneapolis, I am seeing the rediscovering the strength of community in the face of adversity, and the rest of us in the U.S. are seeing this.  Native tribes have been doing ceremonies and probably 80% of the people in that picketing group have never been on tribal land and now they are working together in a painless way. 

There is sympathy for the immigrants in their own neighborhoods and they probably didn’t even know immigrants were in their neighborhood.  Now they are neighbors united in a common effort. 

Last week we talked about a good thing we did, small things like saying something to a cashier-using energy in a positive way.  If we can learn how to do community in modern times (we kind of lost that after the depression with getting so urban and focused on accumulation of power and material things, we have forgotten about working in a group). That could be the 100th monkey lesson – working in our own neighborhoods. 

My handyman lost a good worker who was deported.  My life has now been touched by cruelty.  I had a choice when I heard this to do nothing but decided to call and ask if there was a go fund me page set up and to let me know and I’ll participate.  Or, is there any way I can help him with his business now that he’s handicapped without his worker?  It is giving us the opportunity to do things that seem small but they are not small. 

H:  You are hitting on the right topic.  Everything is metaphor.  We have talked about fractals and metaphors many times.  What we see is that individuals cannot get along with each other.  Where the entity lives there is fighting amongst the members of the homeowner’s association there.  One person wants one thing and another something different.  If you learn to get along in your own household, get along with your neighbors, and your community, city, county, then you can learn to get along on the global stage.  It really has to start with individuals. 

The entity will tell you a story: 

Mom told me this and it was a European country, Denmark I think, that was invaded by the Russians or Germany in WWI or WWII.  Denmark has this thing called HYGGE—it is a feeling of comfort, coziness and warmth.  The best way I can think of is let’s say you have cross country skied and you come home and clean up and sit before a fire eating popcorn and cocoa and have a very cozy evening.  That seems very HYGGE to me. 

The point is that Denmark couldn’t do anything about this invasion so as a nation they decided whatever happened they would continue to live a HYGGE life no matter what.  No matter how evil this presence was they couldn’t do anything about it.  They weren’t going to let that stop them from living the best life that they could. 

H:  It is the sort of thing we want you to think about– no matter what is happening around you– don’t let that discombobulate you.  You, yourself live a HYGGE life.  Find comfort and be kind and be decent and civil and that spreads decency and civility.  Individuals are the only thing that make change. 

P:  By doing your best thing, most loving thing, hugs and conversation- that spreads and that helps. 

H:  We often encourage you to do this and do that.  Really, you are already doing what you need to do.  You interact with civility and decency.  You are supportive and kind and compassionate in everything that you do.  As you live your life, whatever you are doing be those things, that positivity that you want to see in the world.  That is the foundation you are spreading out. 

P:  I think part of being alive we care so much it is hurtful when we see what is happening.  We grieve. We love so much it makes it hard. 

H:  There is a sense of anger and impotence.  All the work that we as a team have done for 20 years hasn’t been enough?  It feels impotent, as though you don’t have control, and in a sense you don’t.  One of the things we talk about as a group is how do we make someone else behave differently?  You cannot make people behave differently no matter what you do.  We can meditate till the cows come home and it will lay the foundation, but a person has to be ready to receive it. 

P:  Reminds me of the old joke of a therapist changing a light bulb.  “Another therapist tells him you can’t change the light bulb till it wants to change.”  We need to share the light that we know is possible. 

P:  I think being who we are, peaceful and joyful is helping.  I have two east Indian doctors, one a dermatologist and the other an orthopod.  They both are incredibly good looking, thin and very serious and excellent docs.  I have never gotten a smile from the dermatologist who I recently saw.  I also recently saw the orthopod this past week.  I saw him a couple years ago as we are monitoring when I may need right hip replaced.  He came in all serious and looked at my x-rays and said “gosh I don’t see that you need to have that hip replaced at this time, unless you are in pain.”  (I’m not).  I said “Wow, that is the greatest news I’ve had in 2 ½ months!  OMG, you just have no idea how happy I am about this.”    

It was almost like he was shocked by my response and didn’t know what to do, but he actually smiled.  I was so overjoyed I know that changed him.  I told him I would walk outa there on clouds.  I know that my response made a difference to him so maybe that changed the way he was with other people, not just his patients. 

H:  As you go about your day interacting with others, as you spread kindness, civility, decency, as you share compassion you are doing enough.  You live your life in the impeccable way you want others to live theirs and that is not just all you can do, it is totally enough.  It is all you can do and IT IS ENOUGH.

P:  In some of the prior metaphysical teachings they said you have to break down to break through.  There is going to be a large societal collapse and that is the break down and it is our job to get everyone through it and to bring society back up in the break through to a better society.  I am not happy with what is going on but it is not going to stop and it is not supposed to stop.  It is going to be bad for a while.  It is part of our job in some way to prepare and facilitate the break through.  We don’t always know the right way to do it. 

H:  You are doing it the right way.  You are all.  Each one of you as an individual is doing it the right way.  You, K, are doing it in a way that looks like you, and D in a way that looks like you or B in a way that looks like you.  And you are already doing it right.  The fabric in these shifts always looks like decay.  It doesn’t have to collapse, but it may and it looks like it is, BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EVEN WORSE.  The more people doing what you are doing – you get 8 billion people doing what you are doing- then it will stop. 

Let’s talk about hatred and fighting.  If you stop hating and fighting and the other person stops hating and fighting then you won’t have hating and fighting.  If you go from one to the next with the 100th monkey theory, stopping the bad behavior and shifting to the civility and decency then you will have the shift that friend, K, is talking about.  Yes, you can expect to see more of it while this shift is taking place.  While each one of you is listening to meditation music, meeting on Wednesdays to vibrate higher and talk about things that are upsetting you and try to come to peace with what is upsetting you, while you are doing that, that is enough.  You are spreading this.  You are making the foundation available for everyone else.  Friend, K, you are touching lives every day, every day, and you know that you are.  You also probably know that that is all you can do.  You are only one person doing the very best that you can do and there is no more that can be expected of you.  Live your best life and listen to people and help people the best way you can.   Those you can only listen to but cannot help, listening is the only thing you can do and probably the only one doing it.

P:  A lot of people are fearful of varying things.  If you are talking about all we can do is listen, nod our head, can you advise us when somebody is expressing fear to you in particular, how can we help that individual? 

H:  When you are talking with someone like this, what is your relationship to them? 

P:  Sometimes it is a friend but not always.  I don’t want to be the wise one that says do this and do that.  Is there a supportive way to address that person’s fear? 

H:  We have come to realize it is difficult for you to be, as individuals, not coming across as the wise one or lecturing.  However, if you can share the picture that you use to help stay stable, then you can spread that around.  For example, the entity shared a story of the Chinese farmer with someone and they said “yeah, that’s right.”  So, it was helpful for that person.  So, however, you stabilize yourself might be of help to the other person.  If you say “this is the way I always think of it.” 

H:  Does anyone here not know about the Chinese farmer. 

(Some of us said no and others said they don’t remember it.)

H:  The Chinese farmer got a new stallion to improve his breeding stock.  While his son was working with the young horse, the horse broke the son’s leg.  The neighbors came over and said “oh that is a good thing.”  The farmer said “who knows what is good or bad.”

The army comes along and doesn’t recruit the son because of his broken leg.  The neighbors come over and say “Oh that is a good thing” and the farmer says “who know what is good or bad?”

You don’t know what the outcome is in these things.  So when you are looking at what is going on in Iran who knows what is good or bad?  The history of this started so far back you cannot unravel it.  Your politicians cannot unravel it.  You cannot.  So who knows what is good or bad in this situation?  Let it unfold as it will. You cannot affect what another person will do.  You stay stable, you be kind, you be true to yourself – that is the most important thing each of you can do through this is to stay stable.

P:  The number of people demonstrating peacefully and have been stating their opinions kindly and peacefully without breaking laws is a real uplift for me.  So I’m kind to people wherever I am.  I think that is the 100th monkey happening.  Very uplifting and hopeful.  It will come to pass.

H:  We will share one more story from the entity.  You know who the Dalai Lama is.  This was years ago there was a woman journalist who came to see him frequently.  She said to him, “I am back again.  My intentions are good.”  Rather than looking at anything else, he said “that is the most import thing” and let the rest of it go.  This example is to demonstrate that if you would look at what is going on and say the goal is peace, no matter how you are going about it peace is the most important thing.  Continue to focus on the peace part and you will sift through all the chaff and get to the grain and the grain is “you are going for peace.” No matter whether I agree with how you are getting there, you are headed for peace. 

P:  I heard on the radio the other day talk about insomnia.  Advice was don’t go to bed with all this stuff going on.  Sit down and write it out and get it out of your body so you can bring in the peace to take its place.  Same thing if you lie down and think of all the things you need to do next day, get up and write them down. 

H:  Very effective. 

We will now do our meditation.  We heard the entity tell you about the practiced run she felt it was peculiar.  It’s a very effective meditation so let’s give it a try.  Feet on floor, hands at sides and hands open on your lap or arm chair.  Let’s just breathe for a while.  Today it is raining in this area.  We had the entity go outside and touch the dirt.  The dirt is not dusty.  You can smell it, grip it, can turn to mud in your hands.  Think about dirt; walking in dust, stomping in mud and how it gets all over.  Think about dirt.  Visualize your feet in the dirt; push your feet into the dirt.  The dirt here is cold and wet.  Press your feet into the dirt and keep breathing in and out. 

When we did the air meditation we reminded you there isn’t anything but God.  When you breathe in you are breathing in God and when you breathe out you are breathing out God.  Feel on the in breath how you push up from the earth into your feet and then you breathe out and that affects the tides.  In breath, out breath.

Let’s take this a step further.  Let’s think about creation of the human form.  You were created from the earth of this planet.  Now, as you breathe in we want you to think about summoning a form from the mud that is a human shape. Then, like the tides, let it go back out.  Summon with your in breath the dirt up in the shape of a human and let it go out again.  Let’s do that for a couple of minutes.  Notice that as you breathe in, most frequently you are the template, like a cookie cutter, you are making the shape.  This is the importance here:  you are mimicking that which is God.  You are making the shape as you breathe in up into your skull and let it out again.  With each in breath, He summoned you forward from the earth.  Breathe in and summon from the earth and release.  Breathe in summoning from the earth and breath out.  Good. 

Now this is the part that the entity thought a little bit odd.  We want you to think literally of mud coming up through your feet, summon it up like sucking through a straw in a chocolate milkshake to your brain.  Suck it up so you are coated like you have been playing in the mud but the mud is on the inside.  Breathe from your feet, breathe up coating you on the inside. 

Remember the Pepto Bismol commercials where it coats, soothes and protects?  The mud is coating, soothing, and protecting every cell in your body.  It is feeding you nutrients like plants are fed from the dirt. You are skipping the plant and are being fed by the dirt.  When you feel water logged by this mud inside you, every cell, every nook and cranny, your eyeballs, every muscle and blood cell every aspect of your being we will stop talking. Fill yourself up with this mud and now that you are full for the next amount of time we will be quiet. Envision this mud is filling you with all this nutrition and it is replenishing ever aspect of you:  your bones blood, everything while the dirt transfers nutrition to you and takes away waste products. 

(Long time of being silent.)

Bring yourself back and let all that mud slide back out of your feet and we have put two flushes of clean energy in you and we are now doing that again… flush, flush, flush.  Close the holes in your feet when you are ready.  Anyone listening to this meditation will not be bringing mud up into their body just the energy of the nutrients being exchanged with every cell.
