Pursue Your Goals

Offering from Higgins:

Your level of commitment is a key factor in achieving your goals. Make no excuses as to why you haven’t yet succeeded in achieving your goal. Each time you are foiled just make a new plan.

Goals are important and achievement of goals is a factor in life satisfaction. It seems to us that for many of you there is only enough time in the day to get the basic chores of living done before it is time to sleep. While you physicals realize varying amounts of satisfaction in the way you accomplish the basic chores of daily living you will not be completely fulfilled until you make progress towards your goals. So make time every day to pursue your dreams even if you are only able to snatch a few minutes here and there. Over time, this will lead to a level of fulfillment that cannot be achieved otherwise.

How Do I Align With the Things I Want?

Question: How do I line up with the things I want? I mean vibrationally.

Higgins: We are happy with this question. It implies an understanding of the vibrational universe in which you are a part. If we could draw on this typed page we would share a picture of your vibrational wavelength. Then next to it we would draw a picture of the vibrational wavelength of the things you want. They would be the same picture.

We would then draw a third picture, the picture of your wavelength and the wavelength of the things you want as they meet and move as one. You would see that while the wavelength remains the same the amplitude of the wave increases. Another way of saying that is that the literal length of the wave remains the same but the height of the wave is larger, or amplified.

That third drawing is a picture of your vibrational emission when you align with something you want. The same thing happens when you align with things you don’t want although the length of the wave would differ.

In order to align with that which you desire you must move your own vibration close to that of the thing you want and how you do that is up to you. There are many options.

Meditation is one very good way of bringing up your vibration. Of course, we understand you cannot meditate 24 hours a day. So in addition to meditation, we encourage you to look for the positive in every situation. That will cause you to vibrate at the highest possible level for the moment in every moment and that in itself will shift that which you draw unto yourself. Next, begin to envision what life will look like when you have gained your goal. Look at magazines, travel, visit with people and gain their perspective. There are many ways to develop desire and we encourage you to want things.

When you have an idea of how or what you would like to be, do or have in the world start acting as though you have it. Act as though you are the thing you want.

The strength of your desire and of your belief are what bring the object of your desire into your life quickly, not the size of the action, so even small actions will have a big impact if they are undertaken with desire and conviction.

The last aspect of creation is living your current life as happily as possible until these things arrive. And they will arrive given time and continuous belief in their imminent arrival.

Let Everything Be OK

Offering from Higgins:

The manner in which you respond to each little event today paves the road into your future. The future will feel exactly like the way you feel now. So if you are feeling great your future will be great. If you are not feeling great, now is the time to adjust your responses.

Let everything that occurs in your daily experience be OK. Regardless of what it is. (And we mean that.) When everything is OK your now is better and so is your future.

What is Sleep For?

Question: What is sleep for?

Higgins: Sleep is neutral time. It is much like taking a time out during a sports match. The body rejuvenates, the mind processes and files away daily experiences while the broader aspect plans next steps for this physical experience as well as formulates plans for after this life and sometimes even next life experiences.

We liken the body’s awakening to the resumption of a sports match after a time out or intermission. You, the mind-body team, get up and go do whatever you do. When sleep comes again the process is repeated. During sleep, the body again rejuvenates while the mind processes and files the days experiences. At the same time, the broader self reviews the day’s game and sets a new plan for the morrow.

Happiness is Possible

Offering from Higgins:

A general state of happiness is possible to achieve. Happy is simply a word that describes an emotion much like sad or angry describe emotions. Emotions are guidelines much like the white fog line and yellow center line painted on the streets guide you as you manipulate your vehicle down the road. When you feel emotions that feel negative you simply are moving away from your natural state of balance and when you feel positive emotions you are moving towards or along with your natural state of balance.

The natural state of physicals is to feel good so a general state of happiness is a natural place of balance.

Addicted to Poor Health?

Question: Can a person be addicted to poor health and getting sick?

Higgins: We understand addictions to be physical cravings rather than mental cravings so in that respect the answer to your question is no. However, addictions are also using behaviors–using alcohol or drugs to alter one’s perception about their life and their own actions is a prime example, with the understanding within the definition that these ‘users’ cannot easily stop using alcohol or drugs if they want to, thus the addiction.

In that respect many of you are addicted to behaviors that you cannot easily stop and these behaviors alter your perception of your life and your own actions. Getting sick often and chronic pain are behaviors like that. They are methods of controlling your world and even other people within it. In this respect, getting sick serves as an addiction.

Regardless of what sort of addiction one has or whether a behavior fits the definition of addiction or not the important thing to understand is that whatever the particular addiction is helping you run away from, whenever you decide to address the thing directly, the thing will go away.

This is important. If something in your life happens and you do not like it you do not have to drink, drug or sick yourself away from it. Address it in the best way you can and move on. You may have to practice a little but in time you will get better at coping with it and eventually it will go away. Address it and it will go away. Greet it and it will go away. Say ‘hello’ to your fears and they will go away.

This is not the most eloquent we have ever been upon a topic but it is one of the most important topics we have addressed. Ponder this one.
