Discovering One’s Spiritual Gift

Question:    How does a person discover their spiritual gift?

Higgins:     A person discovers their gift by noticing sparks of interest within themselves, then pursuing the ideas in such a way as to fan the sparks into flame.

Do you look at works of art and think to yourself, “I could do that?” If so, then you can. But remember that developing your gift requires time and practice.

If you do not feel sparks, another way to uncover your talent lies in what you think about. Do you feel concerned about social injustices?  What do you worry about? Follow up on these hints by finding and implementing solutions.

In short: Where you see your own desire, therein lies your gift. Where you see need, within the solution lies your gift.
