Question: What is life’s work that you talk about?
Higgins: Each of you has a purpose for existing. The discovery of and subsequent expression of your reason(s) for existence is your life’s work. Finding your personal reason for existing is of primary importance because it is the discovery of and subsequent expression of your reason for existence that brings personal happiness.
Sometimes this reason for existence is called a spiritual gift. Spiritual gifts are needed in the world. Every person who does not discover and subsequently live out their gift(s) is synonymous with a missing puzzle piece to the puzzle picture that is the world you live in. The world is less for each person who fails to express their gift.
