Higgins’ Website

From Cheryl:

Higgins’ website is higginsandcompany.net.  It is a work in progress and I am excited about the information Higgins shares. Higgins’ Manual on Physical Existence is posted in its entirety.  There is a page for kids in development as well as a page in development for our elders. A special topics page is underway for conversation from Higgins on difficult subjects.  Where there seems to be need, that is where the special topics page is going.

You may also check out higginsandco.bandcamp.com for a recorded live session on the subject of 2012 and the shift of the ages.  Higgins included two very nice meditations in that session.  These meditations are designed to lift you into the highest vibration you can achieve and of course that could change from day-to-day.

Touch the Earth to Find Balance and Harmony

Offering from Higgins:

Physically touching the Earth brings one into a more centered, balanced state of being. The farther removed one’s body is from earth, trees, rocks, plants and the various things of the Earth the easier it is to maintain an unbalanced, uncentered state of being.

We encourage each of you to spend time outside.  Listen from the heart.  The Earth will guide you into balance and harmony.

Think About the Good Things

Question: There is construction going on around me.  I cannot concentrate on the tasks I’ve set out for myself.  This sort of thing happens often.  How do I get time and space to work those few minutes every day towards my goal, the way you say to do?

Higgins: The important thing here is not to push.  Do not push the construction aspect away.  Embrace it.  Do not push your frustration away either.  Embrace it.  Remember that the manner in which you deal with a given situation creates your future.  The best thing to do is acknowledge how you feel then intentionally change your focus to the good that will come from having the construction finished.

Thinking about all the good things that will come when the construction is finished may not be exactly the way you planned to spend your day but focusing on the most positive aspect of a negative situation will keep things flowing towards a good and harmonious outcome.

A good and harmonious outcome for your construction project will lay the foundation for a good and harmonious outcome for your tasks, whatever they may be, even if the tasks are somewhat delayed.

Death

Question: Will you talk about death?

Higgins:

Death: a good topic. Death is simply an end to the physical body for you are all eternal souls.

Understand that your physical bodies are designed to last hundreds of years.  Disease states and degeneration of body and mind that you physicals perceive as natural aging progression are in fact not natural at all.  Instead, diseases and infirmities of any kind are actually metaphorical representation of one’s long-term emotions and beliefs.

The body’s natural state is perfect health (both mental and physical) and perfect weight along with grace, strength and flexibility (albeit in varying amounts).

Death is designed as a natural endpoint.  Much as you get up to leave when a concert or athletic competition or movie comes to its conclusion, death is simply a point when your life experience has come to its conclusion. Death feels unnatural sometimes because it arrives out of sequence meaning your life has not come to a natural conclusion.

If you will seek to live life as a clear reflection of the true beauty of your eternal being AND if you will relax and let life flow, accepting both that which you consider good and that which you consider bad, all aspects of your life experience will improve.

Life lived reflecting the truth of the beauty of your eternal soul will be far more satisfying. The result of feeling satisfied and fulfilled is improved mood and an improved outlook on life in general that translates metaphorically to good health, longevity and a life that comes to a natural and satisfying ending.

You Are Not A Victim

Offering from Higgins:

If you are not achieving your goals/dreams, if you blame interference from other people for your lack of success or if you blame the stuff of daily life for your lack of success then you are playing victim.  You are not a victim.  You are a divine spirit and surely a divine spirit can find a few minutes each day to pursue their dream.  Do so and discover how good it feels to gently release yourself from the role of victim which never did suit you anyway.

Blessings, Friends.  You are loved.

Find Time to Pursue Dreams

Offering from Higgins:

Find time in every day to pursue your dream. Pretty soon you will run out of tomorrows. You will wonder where the time went and how in all that time you never had enough of it to pursue your dream.

The pursuit of dreams and the manifestation of dreams brings happiness to the pursuer and benefits the world.

Relaxation

Offering from Higgins:

The universe flows.  One either flows with the energy of the universe or struggles against it. Think of a lazy river, a manmade fun ride type of lazy river.  Imagine yourself in a comfortable flotation device meandering along.  The water rushes faster or slower depending upon your location in the river but always the flow of the river pushes you and your flotation device along. Occasionally the flotation system with you upon it may stall for a moment in a manmade backwater but a simple, gentle push from your hand placed against the wall of the pool/river will set you in motion once again.

The work required on your part is almost non-existent.  Your greatest requirement is to enjoy the activity.

Now the question becomes ‘how does one get into the flow’?

The best visualization we have yet come across is that of learning to water ski.  Envision yourself in the water behind a ski boat.  You are floating easily in a life vest. There are two long skis strapped to you, one on each foot.  Try as you will you simply cannot pull those skis into alignment and trying to do so is painful. In fact, the more you struggle and work to straighten those skis the more it hurts.

The water itself grips those skis and pulls one leg this way and the other that way and there may seemingly be no way to get those skis positioned.  That is, until your friends in the boat call out, “Relax!  The skis will float into place the moment you quit struggling!”

It seems incomprehensible yet you allow yourself to do nothing.  Every muscle relaxes and your life vest does keep your head comfortably above water and impossibly, the skis do immediately float into position.

That is what you are trying to achieve, Friends.  That total relaxation. When you relax and quit struggling your life will align swiftly and easily and better yet, it will quit hurting.

Blessings, Friends.  All is well.

Dealing with Interference

Question:  I believe you when you say that those things that we dream of being are truth for us.  So for me, I dream of being a writer and an artist. I took some time off from working to pursue these things and in two years have not painted one picture or pursued art of any form to any appreciable degree.  As for writing, I’ve done some but barely any on the actual thing I wanted to write on, if that makes sense.

It seems that there is always some other thing more pressing that needs to be done and since I am ‘not working’ I have time to do it.  All kinds of people seem to find ways to fill my time for me and think up things for me to do.  Sometimes I say no but many times I say yes.

Why does this interference happen?  Am I causing it in some way?

Higgins:  Two aspects to this.  First, we know you and know that what you are writing, or trying to write, the world is not quite ready for. It will be soon and so in the now time you are writing against the tide. Like swimming against the tide, writing against the tide is a difficult thing to do.  As you continue to ponder and piece this story together the universe will come into alignment with you as the people of the world get ready (on a vibrational level) to receive it.

Think of a sink full of water.  When first the drain is opened it seems the water is emptying very slowly but as the water level lowers it appears to empty faster until the very last of the water sucks down the drain with a slurp.  When you have puttered along on this story long enough there will be a feeling of being that last bit of water as it is slurped.  It will happen very quickly.

Let’s add to that: You and the universe are water flowing steadily and without effort down the drain. When the vibration of the masses slips into alignment with what your book offers, and it will, it is the alignment of what you and the universe are working on with the vibrational pull of the mass consciousness that will cause the slurping feeling.

Second, it is true that you are not in complete alignment with the book and all the things that completing the book will bring into your life. When you decide that you are a writer.  When you decide that you can be and will be successful then you will be firm in your writing pursuits. Just as it is easy to say, “Sorry, I can’t do that because I am scheduled to work that day,” you will easily make time for writing. It will come easily when it comes so don’t put much effort into making this happen for you.  Instead, put gentle pressure, gentle effort into writing regularly upon something, anything.  Work at it a little here and there and as what you want to say begins to form more clearly you will naturally be drawn to spend more time at it and the book will begin to take shape very quickly.  Those interferences will simply drop away.

Really Friend, other than consistent gentle effort and clear intent there is not much work on your part so if it seems like work then something is amiss.  When that happens, relax and try again from the relaxed place.
