The Kindness Paradigm offers the opportunity to create one’s life in physical and emotional safety. Life is open to being created and re-created endlessly. One never need feel stifled when one is eternally expanding. It is when one ceases to grow that problems develop. Within a paradigm of kindness each person is lovingly supported and encouraged to continually grow, to seek change and to evolve.

Just in case you’ve forgotten about The Kindness Paradigm I’d like to repost this from February, 2014:
Seemingly every political candidate runs their race on a platform of ‘change’ yet as a people we don’t have a clear vision of what change looks like. I am developing The Kindness Paradigm as a guideline for what that change needs to consist of for each of us as individuals and what life could be like if we did change.
Once we have a common vision for what we want our world to look like then the change we keep asking for will slip into place. Without a clear vision the ‘change’ will be elusive.
The common vision:
A world in which every person feels safe and secure and free to follow their heart’s desires; every person thrives both physically and mentally; all people have relationships that are satisfying and fulfilling; all mankind prospers; and every single person reaches the end of each day feeling satisfied and fulfilled. And, should a person reach the end of the day not feeling happily smug they have some form of supportive network to buoy their spirits and ready them for the next day.
The path to achievement:
Develop compassion. Since the ability to feel emotions is intrinsic to mankind compassion need only be awakened. Kindness is a by-product of compassion.
The steps to compassion:
Mentally relax about life as it is right now. Accept willingly that which presents before us and allow it to exist, whatever it is. Understand that all any of us ever do is seek to feel good. With this understanding it is much easier to feel compassion for others. Hold compassion for ourselves and for others regardless of the situation. What naturally overflows is kindness.
The result:
Life in The Kindness Paradigm looks like each and every person committing words and actions from kindness, kindness being defined as arising from the understanding that what affects one affects another thus nurturing a desire to create harmony through positive word and action.
And:
In this gentler, supportive, kind environment each of us feels free to follow our heart’s desires. There is no thing more important than pursuing the heart’s desires. It is the heart’s desires that stimulate us to action and drives us to pursue our talents. The expression of the heart’s desires causes the heart to soar. A soaring heart is a heart full of gladness and a world full of glad hearts is the goal of The Kindness Paradigm.
Furthermore, living out our heart’s desires in a supportive environment in which it is our common goal to assist one another in developing respective skills and abilities we will each thrive and prosper. When each of us thrives and prospers then we thrive and prosper as a world community.
So what I’m really saying is we can quit focusing on change and instead focus on developing compassion. From compassion we will uplift one another into our wholeness and the change that we seek will slip easily into place.

Question: In a post quite some time back you used the term ‘the human flourishing’. What does that look like from your perspective?
Higgins: The human is designed to flourish and the Universe offers true abundance. The Universe is unlimited.
The human flourishing, from our perspective, means that on an individual or group basis you’ve been able to determine what you want and subsequently learned to consistently direct your thoughts towards the achievement of it. It means that you are capable of holding a positive attractive vibration for a duration significant enough to allow the Universe to respond to it. It means that you are creating individually and cooperatively for the common purpose of happiness.
When humans can do these things they will flourish. From your perspective it will look like prosperity, good health, rewarding relationships, and fulfilling work. Work is no longer a misery for many but instead a joy for one and all because work is an avenue for expression of each of your many and varied individual talents and interests. It will look like swift and efficient travel from one location to another; plenty of time for play and recreation; delicious, nutritious food; and beautiful, high quality housing and common areas. In short, the human flourishing is all about creativity for the sheer joy of creating and then reaping the rewards of such creation.

Question: I’m tired of struggling. I’ve had more than I ever thought I could deal with.
I am resentful my life is not turning out how I hoped. Will I ever be content, and when?
Higgins: We are glad that you are tired of struggling. It is at this point of exhaustion, when a person finally gives up struggling, that the greatest spiritual progress is made. Spiritual progress comes first which translates into solutions for every day.
Struggling is a form of resistance. In the way a swimmer who gets into long seaweed may struggle causing the tendrils to draw tighter eventually causing drowning so struggling against life’s events will cause you a feeling of drowning.
The first thing that you need to do is stop struggling and you do that by relaxing your mind. There is nothing you can do to solve life’s difficulties that is more effective than relaxing the mind. Relax about your life and everything in it. Just stop.
Breathe.
When you are ready and your mind is relaxed read on.
The Universe is abundant. (We use Universe to be synonymous with God. God is abundant.)
Humans attract the every day experiences of their lives by how they feel about what they think, say and do. You can consider yourself a magnet drawing every moment of your life towards you with these feelings.
The church often teaches that God will answer your prayers simply for the asking. This teaching is incomplete. God doesn’t just give you what you ask for. You get what you get by becoming emotionally equal to it. You ‘ask’ not with words but with the emotion attached to the words. It is in this way that God has given you free will. You have the choice to respond to life as a reflection of the love that He is. You also have the choice to respond utilizing the full range of emotions that humans are capable of. This range includes many emotions that are not in alignment with God-love. The abundance that Is within the Universe returns to you based on the emotion you emit. If you don’t like your life, or any occurrence therein, it is because you have emitted a strong negative emotion that is not aligned with God-love and subsequently drawn forth from the abundant Universe a reflection of that emotion.
Humans are powerful, powerful creators. The more practiced you become the quicker life responds to your requests. Remember, you request with the feelings that accompany every thought, word and action. When life presents similar events repeatedly and you respond with the same emotion repeatedly God/the Universe responds by giving you more of same.
This is the cycle you are in. That’s why we say the first and most important thing you must do to stop this unintended cycle of difficulties is relax the mind. Relaxing the mind breaks you loose from the cycle.
What you must do next to completely change this negative cycle is respond differently to life’s events.
God emits a sort of homing signal. This homing signal is the emotion of love with love defined as a deep and abiding appreciation for what is. (For what is, not for what you wish to be.) The goal of mankind is to match that and then respond to life events. What man does, mostly, is respond to life events and wonder why God doesn’t help. They wonder where God went. Mankind feels forsaken because mankind has forgotten to do their part which is to match God’s love before responding to life’s events.
You haven’t told us exactly what problems you face but we can say that whatever problem you face there is beauty in it. There is also a solution. We can say this with certainty because it is true for all problems that occur. In fact, we often say there are no problems. There are only solutions.
Your job now that you have relaxed your mind is to begin looking for the beauty in the drama that is the human unfolding. Every problem has many solutions. Find a solution for each problem that arises that feels like love. This approach will cause great expansion of the love being that you are. Master this technique for it will prove to be your greatest strength, a gift to the world and the physical expression of your personal human truth and part of your reason for existence.
Will you ever be content? Can you envision yourself responding to the disappointments, sorrows and horrors the world has to offer and feel love and enthusiasm for them? Can you envision relaxing into the love that you are and knowing that by doing so you’ve done enough?
If so, yes you will be content.
We believe in your ability to achieve this and we believe you will come to eagerly anticipate the unfolding of your life as you learn to live life as a literal reflection of God’s love. When you are ready we encourage you to begin choosing your life with more determination and confidence. It is entirely possible to choose your life’s direction. It is much like driving a car. Simply decide where you want to go and then go there. It is easiest to do this once you’ve mastered the technique of matching God’s love first.

Question: The Gospels that are currently in the Bible have Jesus being crucified for “our sins.” Why is that? Was Jesus actually crucified for the sins of us humans? Or is it our misinterpretation of the Bible passages surrounding Jesus and his crucifixion for “our sins.”
Higgins: The word ‘sin’ originates from archery. It means to miss the mark, the gold spot in the center of the target.
The eternal spirit that is Jesus took human form on Earth as Jesus of Nazareth some 2000 years ago. He is especially skilled at this game of Life and chose to come in order to remind men of that day what it is to be human. He came to remind mankind of their own divinity.
If you will now envision the cross. The vertical bar represents man’s divinity, his connection with the eternal realm. The horizontal bar represents man’s expression of that divinity in the Earth realm.
If you will also consider that God emits a homing signal. The job of mankind is to tune into it. On the cross, the homing signal is metaphorically located at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical bars. To sin in Biblical terms truly means your horizontal and vertical lines are not meeting at the God Spot. When you do not connect with your God Spot first, before thinking, speaking or acting it is highly likely that whatever you do will miss the mark.
It matters not how hard you work or how good a person you are. If you do not connect with the Universe through the God spot you will have a hard time in life. The more connected a person is, the easier and more fun life it. Jesus came to remind men of that day to connect.
The confusion arises in that no matter how clearly one person, in this case Jesus, explains the connection the receiving person must hear it, agree with it, process it internally and then practice until it becomes automatic. It is even more difficult to learn from the writings of those who were in the process of internalizing and practicing this information. They were not entirely clear on how to do it. Further, the writings that were clear have been omitted from the Bible.
When a person, any person, comes forth sharing ideas that challenge the norm it produces fear in some and joy in others. Jesus was killed because his ideas produced fear in some. It is in this way that Jesus died for your sins. He died because he dared explain how good men and women, just like the men and women of today, were sinning (missing the gold spot on the target or the God Spot). He died because he dared tell the establishment that in order to make change one had to change oneself. And that is done by finding the God Spot or the human Sweet Spot and living one’s life through God, through the homing signal God/ Elohim/ Yahweh/ Allah/ Waheguru/ Brahman/ Great Spirit continually emits.
