Grow Your Own Food

Higgins:    Grow your own food, at least some of it. Agribusiness is contrary to human desire.  The body needs to be in contact with the earth.  Touching the Earth promotes deeper connection to the eternal self.

What Does President Obama Need To Do To Solve The World’s Conflict: Eudaimonia (Part 3 of 3)

Comment/question:     Eudaimonia is unattainable for Man as a whole. No matter how far you “uplift” many, they will still cause strife because they will believe that others have been given more. The given part is the important one as too few will accept that others just plain earned more through their own efforts.

Cheryl:     Defining eudaimonia as ‘the human flourishing’ or ‘happiness for the individual and mankind as a whole’.

Higgins:     Eudaimonia is attainable. Many planets with humanoid species have attained it. Will Earth?

That primary spark of life that many call God has given humans free will. Eventually, each of you will die and when you do the eternal consciousness that you are will reconnect with God. (You may envision God as a sort of magnetic docking station.) You certainly will not be forced to do so in human form. However, when you were born it was your plan to connect with your eternal God consciousness from the human/physical arena.

Connecting to one’s eternal consciousness then living life in harmony with one’s eternal truth is what creates harmony and happiness.

It matters not whether man as a whole achieves eudomonia. The individual flourishing is all that matters. The individual may choose to flourish regardless of what others choose to do.

Seven billion individuals flourishing. Isn’t that a nice thought?

The Simple Solution to End Conflict: A Clarification (Part 2 of 2)

Question:     I asked you about conflict in the Middle East, conflict in Africa, drought, the riot in Missouri, etc… and asked whether there was a simple answer to end the problems we are having. You said, “Yes. None of you were born with the intention to hurt any other. So why were you born? What is it that you came here to do? Go do it.”

My question, or maybe comment, becomes, when I think about that response my brain almost hurts. I literally feel pressure inside my head. It’s kind of like it can’t think that far, or I can’t think it up.

Higgins:     Right. The “Go do it” causes the brain to move from its current focus on conflict and instead focus upon something else. The ‘something else’ is the thing each person needs to think up as individuals. By virtue of the fact that none of you came to Earth to hurt any other you must think up something new to focus upon. Something that is uplifting to the individual and harmful to none.

Think of it like this:

You are the lead person in a group walking through a rainforest. The vegetation is dense and intense. You must exert quite a bit of strength and effort to hack your way forward to your destination. (Let’s say your destination is a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole but you’ve never seen it nor has anyone in your group. You’ve only heard that it exists and have been given its general location.)

For you, the lead person making  trail, the way is very difficult. For each one following you the trail becomes easier. Those at the end of the group have only to follow your footsteps and while effort must be exerted it is significantly less than the effort of those who blazed the trail.

The ‘trail’ to negativity is well trodden. It is very easy for your mind to flow towards negativity. The ‘trail’ to human flourishing is not. Moving mentally towards a vision of the human flourishing is a new trail and difficult for those who go first. That is why your mind has a hard time focusing on it. There is no easy path laid for you to travel on. You are a trailblazer. Others who follow will have an easier time because you had the courage and fortitude to (mentally) go first.

The Simple Solution to End Conflict (Part 1 of 2)

Question:     Conflict in the Middle East, conflict in Africa, drought, starvation, violence. Now, in the U.S., a riot in Missouri. Is there a simple answer to end this?

Higgins:     Yes. None of you were born with the intention to hurt any other. So why were you born? What is it that you came here to do? Go do it.

There Are No Problems: A Clarification

Question:  You posted, “It is not a problem. It is clarifying data.”

When I watch the news and see people, innocent or not, dying from bombs, shootings, starvation, disease….well, I wonder whether it’s a problem for them.

Higgins:     A marvelous question.

People tend to see their problems as problems rather than as clarifying data. That is because most of you do not understand how life experience is created.

Life is created in the mind first. Life experience is created by each individual by their emotions and how they feel about what they think, hear, see, say and do.

Said another way, life is a reflection of how you feel about what you think about.

When bombs are exploding nearby or you are lying in a hospital with some dreaded disease the only thing you can do is relax. Tension will only make things worse. Once the immediate danger has passed begin active participation in the creation of a bright future.

We encourage a twice daily routine in which you sit quietly contemplating the day.

In the morning contemplate the day ahead. Fill your mind with pleasant thoughts about how the upcoming day shall be. Include things like safety, pleasant interactions with those around you and fulfillment of your heart’s purpose.

In the evening contemplate the day passed. Consider what things you liked, and plan more of that for the days ahead. Also consider what you did not like. Determine what you would rather have, then plan that for your days ahead.

Spend no more time considering those things you did not like than necessary for defining what you would rather have. Safety, pleasant interactions with those around you and fulfillment of one’s heart’s purpose are very basic desires and an appropriate place for beginning the intentional creation of life.

We do understand how easy it is to get caught up in the reality of mankind’s collective miscreation. We hold in our heart’s the knowing that you all are magnificent creators of life experience or you could not have erupted into the world in human form. We know that as soon as you are able to direct your thoughts from the negativity that is to the positivity that is your birth right the violence, the disease, the starvation, the crime…these things will begin to fade. The more people who begin to intentionally choose a gentler, more fulfilling path through life the grander the vision will be. Let us make special note that only you must change your thought for your life to change.

Make Friends With Your Body

Higgins:     Make friends with your body. Eat high quality, nutritious meals.  Drink water.  Bless food and water before consuming. Get as much rest as your body thinks it needs. Provide gently strenuous exercise on a regular basis.

Bless your body and thank your body. It is doing its best.

Life is Synonymous to Dreaming

Higgins:    Life is synonymous to dreaming.  You have the capacity to shift the tone of dreams and similarly you have the capacity to shift the tone of your life. It takes practice. Consciously intend to shift the dream that is your life toward the positive; towards happiness, fulfillment and satisfaction.

What Does President Obama Need to Do to Solve the World’s Conflict? (Revisited) (Part 2 of 3)

Question:     President Obama is in a powerful leadership position in the world. There’s nothing he can do to end the conflict(s) going on?

Higgins:     Let’s use an example our friends Abraham-Hicks have used. In their example, you are walking down the street and come upon a scene. One person is beating up on another. What are the choices? You can run away to your own safety and perhaps feel bad for not helping. You can intervene and risk personal harm. You can phone for help.

None of these solutions is especially good. In the heat of the moment you simply make the best choice you can. None of these is a right or wrong answer.

The right answer is: After doing the very best you can go home and do your personal homework. Your homework is to create in your mind the world you want to live in. Dream for yourself safety, prosperity, pleasant weather, satisfying relationships, good health, enjoyable days. The goal is that you go to bed each night feeling satisfied and fulfilled.

Inspiration will come to you as to steps that can be taken to achieve these things. Take them. Let the world follow.

It must be becoming obvious that there is no easy way to solve the conflicts occurring in your world in the same way there are no good solutions to the scene described above. The only right answer is to do your best, whatever path is chosen, and simultaneously begin to uplift the individual towards achieving their dreams.

If President Obama can do anything as an individual it is to uplift the people in spirit such that each person has hope for and belief in a personal future that is bright. A future filled with opportunity and room to dream. Creating hundreds of thousands of mind numbing jobs is not opportunity. Neither is education for the sake of education. Opportunity is the chance to explore the expression of self. Opportunity is the chance to discover what it is that makes an individual happy and then the space and time in which to do that thing.
