Why Are There Differing Viewpoints From Those Who Are Enlightened?

Question:     Many have gone into meditation and have been enlightened but if that is the case why do those people that have been enlightened all have different view points on religion and their beliefs on reincarnation to the afterlife?

Higgins:    Just so you know, it is not a requirement to meditate to become enlightened.

There are many reasons for the variations. Enlightened means different things to different people. To some it is to transcend beyond human suffering. To others it means to awaken to or to begin to understand how we all are interconnected and to live accordingly. Taking a broad view, these two meanings are the same. Nevertheless, people find that there are many paths to the same destination.

Taking a complex idea and describing it in words is another aspect. Even if the words chosen are exquisite in their completeness the reader or listener must also receive the meaning as intended. There is often variation in sender’s meaning and receiver’s understanding.

The next understanding is a little more complex:

For the human all things are metaphorical. The Universe is vast and the little soul that becomes the Human Spirit must focus diligently to present the Earth realm to the mind in a way that the mind can interpret and that is the key. The mind must interpret the information it receives and because each one of you has a different perspective information is received differently and therefore variability is.

Further, there is no one right way, no one right religion. When information is transferred from non-physical to physical (when meditating for enlightened answers for example) the non-physical energy is tempering their answer to the asker.

Additionally, the receiver always acts as a filter to the information. Another way to say that is when information is passed from non-physical to physical the information is tinted the color of the human connection.

We ‘work’ with the entity through whom we are now communicating regularly during meditation, sleep and even awake times so that when her filter is applied (and it cannot not be applied, it simply occurs in the interpretation process) the filter that she is enhances our meaning rather than distorts it.

From our perspective the biggest change in information between non-physical and the human receiver comes when the human receiver tries to share the information with other humans via words. Words do not carry the same vibrational interpretation from one person to the next. That means that if we could connect with you directly we could be clearer in our answer than we can be working through this human filter to put our meaning into word.

That is why we strongly encourage each of you to seek your own information rather than relying solely on information that others receive. A direct answer is always tailored to the asker and often comes vibrationally, the clearest most complete form of communication.

What Happens When We Die?

Question:      What happens when we die? Do we all just go back to the Source of all things? And if so what is that like?

Higgins:     The soul is separate from the body. The body houses the soul. The body is designed to age to help humans with the concept of time. The body also reflects physically the emotional discomfort and beliefs of the occupant (sort of the way some houses are left to fall into disrepair and others are well maintained). This reflection appears as disease.

The body dies when it can no longer function whether from damage or from emotional dis-repair (as in the house has been left in such disrepair it collapses) or when the soul is ready to return to non-physical.

All bodies eventually stop and when that happens the soul sort of jumps out or is thrust out. There is often some hang time where the soul is neither in the body nor rejoined with its Broader Eternal Being. Usually it is a short time, 30 minutes to a few hours. Sometimes the soul’s energy can continue to be represented for hundreds of years. Those are called ghosts.

Even when the soul’s energy does not hang around the Earth realm there is possibility it will not re-align right away with its Eternal Self. Again, this can be hours to days or many months but the re-alignment rarely takes hundreds of years. In fact, amongst us we cannot think of a single time when it has taken longer than a couple of years to re-align.

When the little soul does not re-align almost immediately with its Broader aspect usually there has been some soul trauma during the life experience. For these souls, almost all of them are quickly put into a sort of emotional swaddling blanket and held still until they are able to awaken without fear.

There is a significant amount of spiritual preparation done before death. There are friends awaiting your arrival and skilled helpers if help is needed in making the transition. Every single one of you, no matter how you’ve lived your life, has someone awaiting their arrival. Often it is God himself.

The closer the soul gets to home the more loving the feeling is that encompasses them. If a rest time or transition time is needed that is provided. Eventually, that loving feeling will encompass them completely and when that happens the soul re-awakens to the eternal-ness that they are.

In short, death is a little like awakening from a dream. Whether it was a good dream or a bad dream determines the smoothness of the transition and the transition time needed.

Let’s Talk About Sin

Question:     The next (question) has to deal with sin. You dont ever really talk about sin in any of your posts that I can recall. How come you dont talk about sin at all? And why is sin such a HUGE deal in the Bible especially in the NT than in the OT? Is there a hidden deeper meaning on what sin is than what most have been taught? I have seen another site saying sin is having your emotions control you. While a lot of what you talk about is following your emotions and intuition to have them guide you. Is having your emotions guide you same as controlling you? Is having your emotions guide you sinful? OR is sin being separated from God within yourself, not being in oneness with God or the Universe?

Higgins:     We don’t talk about sin because the word sin has come to mean that you, a human being, have done something bad and against God.

You cannot, you have not, and you never will be able to do something wrong, bad or against God. There is not that: there is no wrong or bad. There is only that which feels good and that which feels bad. Sometimes good only feels like a tiny bit of relief and sometimes bad only feels like a teeny-tiny nag. Nevertheless, there is only that which feels good and that which feels bad.

If you want to talk about what sin is then we’ll say that sin is simply doing something that feels bad to you. It doesn’t have to feel bad to anyone else, only you. If you are about to say or do something and it feels even the tiniest bit negative, don’t do it. Find another option. To do something that feels bad to you is to commit action that is against your Truth.

All of physical life is a reflection of your thoughts, words, and actions and how you feel about them. Committing action that is against your Truth will result in a reflection that will not be pleasing.

Example: you are fuming mad about (whatever) and are really thinking about how mad you are while you begin to pound a nail into the wall. You smack your thumb with the hammer.

This is an immediate response to and reflection of your thoughts and it certainly doesn’t feel good. Some of life experience, like this example, is almost immediate while much of life takes hours, days, months and years before being reflected back as life events. Health conditions often take years to develop. Cancer, Altzheimer’s, depression, heart disease and stroke are reflections of long term negative emotion.

That is how physical life works. Mostly, you physicals do not understand this but this example is exactly how the life you live comes towards you. Again, if you want to talk about sin then view sin as committing word and action that is against your Truth because doing so creates a world you do not want to live in.

The reason sin is such a huge issue in the New Testament is that these stories are trying to remind you how to live in your Truth.  Remember they are incomplete and portions that would clarify them have been removed or lost in translation or never clearly understood by the writer in the first place. Sin is simply the word that was chosen by translators to convey the meaning of somehow missing the mark or being off target.

Three things about emotions controlling you….

1)     Emotions are guidance. Emotions that feel good or even a tiny bit better indicate your thoughts, words and actions are heading you towards expression of your personal Truth. Emotions that feel bad or even the tiniest bit negative indicate your thoughts, words and actions are heading you towards expressing the opposite of Who You Really Are.

Emotions guide you moment by moment.

2)     Emotions so extreme that they cause a sort of paralysis, disabling fear for example, are encountered. Situations that bring about this sort of crippling emotion only arise after repeated thought, word, action sequences initiated after ignoring the negative emotional offering from your Broader Self and would not occur to a person living in harmony with Truth.

3)     Some people believe in using the logic of the head over the sometimes seemingly illogical logic of the heart. The logic of the head is designed to help you use the logic of the heart.

Example:     You are in conflict with another individual, not agreeing upon a topic. In learning to follow your guidance system you are offered two emotions and you have been told by Higgins to follow that which feels better/stronger. The strongest emotion says hit that guy right in the nose but you know hitting the guy in the nose will land you in jail. You decide not to hit the guy in the nose and walk away, the option that felt less strong.

In this scenario, the brain uses its understanding of your physical parameters and says, “Wait! You may be right but hitting him will get you in deeper discomfort. Walk away.”

This is one really great way to use the brain/heart connection. Then, later, when you are safely away you can use the brain to help you think up some better solutions. Better, meaning in harmony with societal parameters and in harmony with your heart.

We think this answers your questions on sin.

Post Script to About Heaven and Hell

Higgins:     We said in the previous post, About Heaven and Hell:

Most of you do not know you have choice and many of you feel that life is thrown at you unfairly. None of what life dishes out to you comes because you are unworthy. Life does not come to you the way it does because humans are inherently sin filled. The Universe is completely fair and entirely impartial and you get what you get because you either followed your heart towards happiness or you didn’t.

We would like to add:

Some of you are born into, or come to be in, difficult life circumstances. Each one of you chooses to be born, you choose your parents and have (before birth) planned a general trajectory that will provide opportunity to hone a skill or skills of your choice. Skills are primarily spiritual in nature although it is not unheard of to plan on developing physical skills such as one’s tennis game. Although you do not know exactly  how life will play out you know you have the skills to play the game however it may unfold.

When life is difficult it is sometimes very hard to follow one’s heart towards happiness. However, each one of you is a master at this choosing happiness stuff. It would not be possible to enter the Earth arena if you were not skilled in all the right stuff to play the Game of Life.

So a special note to those whose life circumstances are hard, who are incarcerated, who have done bad things or had bad things done unto them, who are impoverished or live with physical or mental disabilities, or who are just plain discouraged: You are among those with great spiritual gifts for you would not have planned a trajectory leading you this way if you were not absolutely certain you had mastered the skills necessary to swim through this. It is our certainty that if today you will begin once again to acknowledge your heart’s leanings you will begin to move in a direction that will produce a very desirable and enjoyable life.

Simply allow this new life to unfold like a lazy river….

About Heaven and Hell

Question:     What is your view on Heaven and Hell like the English translations of the Bible talk about in the NT? Is there a Heaven and a Hell in the afterlife like the Bible talks about? Is there judgment after you die and if you did not accept Christ as Lord you will burn in Hell forever tormented? Or how about the other view if you get cast into Hell after death will you be burnt up in the Lake of Fire, and you are gone completely, which is your spirit or soul is totally destroyed as well and you wont be remembered anymore.

Higgins:     Heaven and Hell are entirely misunderstood. There is no place that is either Heaven or Hell. One will not be judged unworthy for any reason and so upon death be sent to burn forever in a fire of torment. Heaven and Hell are conceptual representations intended to represent the negative/positive balance that exists throughout the Universe.

If the reader has ever been deeply, fully satisfied with, and intensely appreciative for some portion of their life…even for a moment…then the reader has approached Heaven. Similarly, if the reader has suffered, even for a moment, then the reader has approached Hell.

The Bible stories want you to choose…do you choose Heaven (blissful) or do you choose Hell (tormented)?

Physical man has been given freedom by that which you call God. This freedom is about choice and it is the range of choices that creates the contrast of the Earth life experience. Each one of you has the choice to pursue positivity (Heaven) or negativity (Hell).

The Truth is that one chooses to move towards happiness by always choosing the option for action that feels best, even if it only feels like a tiny bit of relief. When one chooses to pursue positivity in this way then the Heavens pour blessings upon you and the Angels rejoice with you.

If More Positivity is Expressed What Happens to the Negative?

Question:     So if way more people/beings express the positive, what happens to the balance between?

Higgins:     If more people were to express the positive the negative still would exist but would remain unexpressed. For many years on Earth there has been greater expression of negativity than positivity. The potential for positivity continues to exist and grows relative to and equal to the growth of negativity. It simply awaits expression. In fact, the Universe continually expands in part due to negative expression rather than in spite of it.

God, Yin and Yang and the Game of Life

Question:     If (the Bible is) taken literal why does God have so much violence in the OT. Telling certain people of his to kill others or tribes? He has Moses and his group kill all the males and all woman who laid with a man in a certain group and the rest of them, the woman and children who did not lay with a man is to be used to have sex with. And later in the NT, God seems more kinder and gentler, more forgiving if you will. Why? The Bible says He is the same yesterday, today and forever. There are more contradictions and violent acts of God in the OT but that is good enough to show what im talking about.

Higgins:     We repeat again the primary usefulness in the Bible today is to drive a reader to seek the Truth which is difficult to untangle from the stories within it.

These stories are old, thousands of years old. For the Spiritual evolution of man prophets are sent forth into physical. Prophets are humans with extra skill at playing the game of being human. Jesus was but one. There have been many and there will be more. There will be as many as it takes for mankind to remember how to play the game.

Jesus was one such prophet who came forth to assist you all in understanding the game. He came forward to remind you physicals that you are love incarnate. That is why the New Testament seems gentler in many ways than the Old.

The asker of this question refers to God as being kinder and gentler in the New Testament. We wish to clarify that God is God and Jesus is Jesus. Jesus is God in the flesh exactly the same way that you the reader are God in the flesh.

Ok….so exactly what is the game?

God or Allah or Creator or Prime Source of All That Is…whatever you call it there is one central being that is the beginning of (Alpha) and the eternal unfolding expression of all things (Omega).

The painter, Monet, painted many versions of Water Lilies. He liked what he created and so created more of it. Similarly, God is ever-expanding and so when he creates something he creates lots and lots of it. Everything you the reader are is God unfolding and expressing all aspects of whatever God is capable of.  That means that all things both good and bad are of God. Importantly, those things that feel good are, let us call it Truth, while those things that feel bad are simply a different form of Truth, let us call it Balance or Equal and Opposite.

(Note that God is not a He. God is all things and that means that God is a He/She encompassing both male and female character/energetic attributes.)

For each thing that exists there must be an equal counterpart for balance within the Universe. God is the Universe. God is you. And there is a complete balance of positive/negative. Some think of this as Yin/Yang.

The job, if you will, of the human game is to rediscover that although you have a range from powerfully negative to powerfully positive, you want to express the powerfully positive because it feels good to you. When you do express the kindness and compassion and love that you are you meld into complete harmony with the Glory of the Universe, God. Discovering how to do that is finding your Truth.

Finding your Truth and expressing it: that is the Game.

Is the Bible Literal?

Question:     The Bible has some great insights into deeper studies. But it has some contradictions. Especially if you take the Bible literally. I would like to know, how do you view the Bible, what do you think on it? Do you view the Bible as literal or all spiritual with deep meanings and not literal at all?

Higgins:     In areas of the world where the Bible is easy to access we encourage you to delve into it for the opportunity for learning that it provides. However, the Bible is incomplete and many stories are presented out of context. Some aspects may be taken literally and some aspects would not benefit you to take literally. The problem is, the reader has no idea which may be taken literally and which not.

The Bible does give a history of Earth and how mankind came to be on the planet (albeit incomplete). It also hints at the spiritual aspect of what man is. Part of the beauty of the Bible is that by virtue of its inconsistencies and omissions it creates questions in the minds of many. It is in the seeking of the answers to those questions that the reader will eventually find Truth. The Bible is a path to finding the Truth although the Truth is highly veiled within the words of the Bible itself.

Searching for the Holy Grail

Question/comment:     I have been a Christian most of my life. Wanted to get closer to God and have a great relationship to him. I did but then later found out things I was shocked to found out on the Bible. I went away from Christianity and began a search for Truth, no religion attached to it and began to study and search online. In the process I found this site, which has been a HUGE help so thanks a bunch on that 😀 It really helped put me at ease for the time being. But now it is back.

Higgins:     Wherever a person is physically located we encourage them to delve into the most accessible spiritual path available that is of interest. Delve fully and when the path becomes exhausted blaze a new trail as the asker of this question is doing.

We applaud the asker’s perseverance and fortitude. It is the seeking and the asking of questions that brings forth the answers and all answers shall be unlocked by the askers of the world.

You, the asker of this question, have embarked on a marvelous adventure that few are courageous enough to attempt (or are not driven to attempt). In your search for Truth you have, as men have for thousands of years, embarked upon the search for the Holy Grail.

Blessings, Friend, on your remarkable journey. May you relax and enjoy yourself every step of the way.

Don’t Mean to Be a Bother

Question:     I dont mean to be a bother or anything but I have some more questions for you.

Higgins:     Friend, you are not a bother. In fact, just the opposite. It is the asking that drives our evolution. It is the seeking that drives yours. You and your questions are blessings to the world. You and we and All That Is ( meaning that which you call God) expand and become more because you are willing to ask them.
